Controls

Moving by scrunching

• Point in the direction you want to move

• Press the bottom button (A or X)

• Pull your arm towards you and release the bottom button

Moving with joystick

• Move and quick-turn by using the joystick (Note: joystick movement is disabled during the tutorial of the experience)

Snapping

• Snap by pressing the trigger button

Grabbing Objects

• Grab objects by pointing the controller at the object you want to pick up and squeezing the grip button

In-App Menu

To open the menu, press the menu button on the left controller.

In the menu, guests can choose to replay the intro, toggle single and multiplayer mode, return to the the starting scene, permanently block other guests, toggle teleportation and scrunch locomotion, and reset their save data.

Teleportation Mode

Toggle teleportation mode on and off in the in-app menu.

Guests can use this mode to move through the world by teleportation.

Teleport to a new location by holding down either bottom button (A or X) and releasing once the target destination ring has appeared.

Tutorial Walkthrough

Mud DESERT

Create each of your hands by repeatedly pulling the trigger button to snap.

Equip each of your golden rings by pressing and holding the grip button.

Move towards the mask by scrunching: extend your arm and point towards the direction you want to move, press the bottom button (A or X), pull your arm towards you, and release the bottom button.

Marquee

Scrunch towards the gray door. Grab and turn the gray door handle with the grip button.

Unfortunately, management won’t let you inside. Try the door again.

The garbage bin to your left begins to shake. The MC will appear and open the door for you. Follow the MC and grab the gold orb using the grip button.

Elevator Door

The MC will guide you through the Under’s backstage. Grab the chair carts blocking your path and pull them to the right, dropping them into the elevator shaft below.

Soon the MC will have to leave you behind, but help is on the way.

You will appear in front of the green metal door again, this time on the left. To your right you will see another spirit- this is actually your ghost repeating your previous actions. Help your ghost open the green metal door by grabbing the left handles on the door using both grip buttons, pulling up, and releasing both grip buttons. 

Then help your ghost start the elevator by simultaneously pushing the red button at the same time it does.

Hologram Room

Open the brown door by grabbing the door handle, turning your controller, and moving your controller towards yourself. The door will reveal a white portal. Scrunch or joystick inside.

You will see a room filled with many doors. Move around and open as many doors as you can. After a minute or so, a new loop will begin.

You’ll be back where you started but see a recording of your past actions. Work with your past selves to open as many doors as possible until one leads to:

a red theater room with a golden crank.

Grab the handle of the crank Then, while holding, rotate your arm to crank the crank and start a projection.

A hologram of the MC will begin to play. He will introduce you to the wonders the Under has to offer you. The MC will eventually invite you to come down to the center of the room. The glass floor below the hologram will shake, open and sink down.

You wont be able to ride down this first time, but a spirit standing on the platform will be transported to the Under.

Wait for the time cycle to reset. Make your way back to the red theater room. Stand in the center of the room over the blue glass platform as your recorded ghost cranks the crank. The platform will lower and you will be transported to The Under. Welcome!

Bottle Room

After a while, the MC will bring you to his bottle room where he will introduce you to the Aickman. He will let you explore the ship for the first time.

Enter the yellow shipping container to find Adela.

Grab her hand with the grip button when she asks you to take her hand.

Bottle Desert

Grab different bottles on the ground to peer into their worlds. Smash the bottles by throwing the bottles and releasing the grip button.

Restoration Spell Tutorial

You will find yourself in the entryway to the Under. A broken staircase blocks your path forward. To the right of the staircase is a golden hologram crank, similar to the one in the red theater room. Grab the crank and rotate it to display a hologram of a spirit performing a restoration spell.

Grab a broken piece of the staircase and stand near the staircase.

Remove your mask with your other hand. by reaching toward your face and hitting the grip button.

Place the shard in your mask.

Snap into your mask. Swirls will appear in your mask. Drag your finger around the rim of the mask in a counterclockwise direction to rewind time and restore the staircase.

Then go up the staircase to enter The Under.
